It’s time for THE LAST WWW Wednesday OF THE YEAR!! WWW is currently hosted by Taking on a World of Words! This tag is quite simple, and just asks that we answer the following questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Today is Christmas, so I hope everyone is enjoying the day with their loved ones and that Santa brought you everything you asked for!
I had an okay reading week, and I fully intend to make the most of the final days of 2019, and crank out a few more books for this year! Let’s check out my WWW.
What Am I Currently Reading?
I am currently reading The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden. Reading this was my Big Goal for 2019, so of course I’m leaving it to the last minute.
I am also still listening to Sense and Sensibility on Audible, although I haven’t made much progress in the last week due to carpooling most days with my hubs, and needing to listen to Christmas music all the time.
What Did I Recently Finish Reading?
Thanks to rewatching Anne-With-An-E on Netflix, I had the strong need to reread the Emily series by L.M. Montgomery. I decided to skip the first, but binged my way through Emily Climbs and Emily’s Quest in a matter of two days. I love this series even more than the Anne series, and highly recommend it!
What Will I Read Next?
So I’m not sure yet how I will finish out my year, but I can say that I have already chosen my first reads for 2020; Skyward and Starsight by Brandon Sanderson. I got my GORGEOUS sprayed edges edition of Starsight in the mail today, so I am super excited to read them! Why am I not doing so this week? Because I want to reread Skyward again, and I have a strict rule for myself that I cannot read the same book twice in one calendar year. And so we wait.
The Bear and the Nightingale is so wonderful!
