WWW Wednesday – December 11, 2019

WWW Wednesday GraphicIt’s time for another WWW Wednesday, which is currently hosted by Taking on a World of Words! This tag is quite simple, and just asks that we answer the following questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

I had a pretty decent reading week, which was good because I have also been crazy busy! December is such a hectic month, with lots of traveling around and parties and things, so I suspect I will feel much more frazzled with my reading until things settle down. HOWEVER, I finally got my husband on the Audiobook train, so maybe we will get to listen to a few while we spend ample time in the car over the next few weeks!

What Am I Currently Reading?

I am listening to Pride & Prejudice, narrated by Rosamund Pike, on Audible! You may recall that Rosamund Pike played Jane in the 2005 version of P&P, so she is the perfect narrator for this!

I am also reading The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern. I am LOVING it so far, and the vibe is so reminiscent of The Night Circus, despite being totally unrelated. I also got to see Erin on tour last night and OMG FANGIRLING SO HARD!!!!

What Did I Recently Finish Reading?

I finished my listen of Martin the Warrior on Audible! I def plan to listen to more of the Redwall books, but I let my husband use my credit for December so for now I will content myself with Austen books ;).

For physical books, I finished Bright Star by Erin Swan, The Little Bookshop on the Seine by Rebecca Raisin, and Husband Material by Emily Belden.

What Do You Think You Will Read Next?

I am hell-bent on reading The Bear and the Nightingale before the year ends (it has been too long on my TBR), so that is my singular goal right now!

The Bear and the Nightingale

  1. That’s so neat that you got to see Erin on tour! I haven’t read The Night Circus yet, but I’m really looking forward to reading them both.

Gosh, I really need to read The Bear and the Nightingale, too. I think it’s fallen into the void that is my Kindle TBR. I hope you love it!

  2. You read a lot of books this week! I’m glad to see you liked so many of them. I should really read the Night Circus some time soon. And how are ALL of those the Bear and the Nightingale covers so beautiful. These publishers are really trying to make us buy multiple copies of each book 😂
