Superlatives Book Tag

I came across this awesome book tag over on Reading in the Wings’ page ages ago stuck it in my drafts for future use. Well, the future is now! Let’s have a look, shall we?

Most likely to be in the movies: The book that would make the best movie.

Okay, so I pretty much want every book I love to make it to screen, which in reality is happening all over the place now (thank you, Netflix). HOWEVER, I am going to choose Eragon by Christopher Paolini because I would love to see this adapted CORRECTLY so we can forever erase the terrible version that already exists in the world.

Biggest Drama King/Queen: The most overly dramatic book or character.

Is there any other choice than Gilderoy Lockhart? I mean, the man is the literal definition of Overly Dramatic. He’s also fabulous and I love him.

Best Dressed: Book with the best cover

How can I choose just one?! The answer is I can’t so I’m going to pick a whole bunch! Behold the glory!!!!!!

Most Creative: The book with the most unique plot, characters, and structure

Illuminae by Amy Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. This book had such unique formatting that they literally had to print it on special paper so it could contain the awesome without disintegrating or something (I don’t know how printing works, don’t ask specifics). Plus the plot is super unique and the characters are all amazing.

Most Popular: The book with the highest average rating on my Goodreads

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas with an average of 4.67/5 stars with almost 250k ratings! In fact, all of the SJM books followed this one pretty closely (Kingdom of Ash was a mere .06 away with 4.61/5), as did Godsgrave (which came in at 4.58/5). This comes as absolutely no surprise to me, and I agree wholeheartedly.

Most likely to Succeed: The book that is going to be appreciated for many years to come

Harry Potter. I mean, is there really another answer to this question? It’s already held its own for TWO DECADES, and it shows no signs of becoming less popular any time soon.

Until the Very End

Class Clown: The book that made you laugh out loud

Skyward by Brandon Sanderson. I have never read any of Sanderson’s other works so I don’t know if he is always this humorous, but I found myself constantly laughing out loud while reading this. I am super excited for Starsight to come out this month!

Most Improved: A series that got better with each book

The Caraval Trilogy by Stephanie Garber. Caraval was good, but didn’t wow me. In fact, I probably wouldn’t have even picked up Legendary for a while except I got approved for an eARC. Fortunate, that, because Legendary was SO FREAKING GOOD!! And then we got Finale which was AMAZINGLY EPIC!!!! I adore this series and it just got better and better with each subsequent book. So much love here.

The Cutest Couple: The cutest couple in a book

Oh my god. Are you really making me pick this?! But…but…SO MANY SHIPS!!! Okay, okay. I had to call in for backup on this one (thanks Amanda!) but we have decided: Anne Shirley and Gilbert Blythe!

Biggest Heart Breaker: The book that broke your heart

Endsinger by Jay Kristoff. YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID, JAY, AND I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!

And there we have it!!! Who would you choose for some of these superlatives? Let me know in the comments below, and if you decide to do this tag, link me so I can check it out!!!
